Shaked Kuta

Originally from Herzliya, Israel, raised in Long Island, New York for 20 years. Born an artist in 1995, I was inspired my whole life by my father throughout his contracting career, I've inherited from him a strong behind-the-scenes understanding of architecture and a perspective of  creative strategies to engineering. In New York I got my Bachelor's Degree in Law & Society at John Jay College. I worked as a paralegal in a Matrimonial and Family Law Firm for about 4 years. Throughout the beginning of my law career I picked up a camera as a side hobby and started working as an independent freelance photographer for a wide range of different projects in fashion, entertainment, advertising, personal photoshoots, etc. I worked as a product photographer and Social Media Manager at a trendy street-casual retail store called NYC Mode in Long Island for a few months. In the beginning of year 2020 I decided to change careers completely, I was looking for a career that would be as challenging and detail oriented as law but also include an artistic and creative aspect, considering my background interest in construction I decided architecture was the best fit.  The change in career gave me the urge to move out of the United States and live in a different cultural atmosphere, so I decided to move back to Israel. It always felt like home when I would visit from The States, I really enjoyed being around my family and really felt more connected to the warm culture. I made Aliyah in February 2o20, worked as a freelance photographer and part-time English tutor.  In October 2020 I started my architectural studies at Shenkar College of Engineering after hearing a lot of good feedback on the institution, and graduated in July 2023. Today I am super excited and motivated in starting my Architectural career at a serious company that I can grow with, learn a lot from, and contribute my sparkle to.
